Tasting Notes:
Since 1965 the Steltzner family has been dedicated to growing grapes of exceptional quality. This Chardonnay is grown on our Oak Knoll Estate; in the well drained gravely soil of Dry Creek, on the west side of the Napa Valley. The nose of this wine starts with Tropical fruit and sweet melon aromas, which mingle with sweek oak and vanilla notes. On the palate this wine is rich and creamy, and well balanced. Honeydew melon and citrus show bright up front, with the creamy sweet oak and vanilla notes from the barrels showing on the end, just as with the nose.
